This weekend, Darren Aronofsky's
Noah comes out in theatres, starring Russell Crowe. And I could've done a best & worst for him, however someone else is in this film, and her name is Jennifer Connelly.

She's absolutely one of hollywoods best actresses, in all of her films (yes, even some of the lower quality ones), she does a good job.
For her best film, there's a couple I enjoy. I think she's really good in The House of Sand and Fog, Blood Diamond, and A Beautiful Mind. However, my favourite film of hers was another venture with Noah director Darren Aronofsky,
Requiem for a Dream.

This film is dark, it's disturbingly real, and she is absolutely fantastic in it. Incase you haven't seen the film, it's a harsh and very shocking look at what drugs and addiction actually does to people. As for Connelly, she's fantastic in the film, she could've been nominated for an oscar for this movie. Her story is one of the more depressing sub-plots in the film, watching her life fall apart is pretty damn tragic. And she does an amazing job of capturing that.
Worst is a little more difficult, because she doesn't have a lot of them. However,
The Day the Earth Stood Still is probably my pick.

This is a kinda meh film. The characters are iffy, the script is just sorta bland. This film itself as a whole is just boring. Nothing really happens, it's not interesting, and it's really an empty film. As for Connelly, well she does the best with the script, which for what it is isn't a fault. But, regardless, this film just doesn't work.
