Best and Worst of Edward Norton

This weekend we've got quite a few movies, 300: Rise of an Empire is one of the bigger blockbusters, but my attention is more focused on The Grand Budapest Hotel. Wes Anderson always delivers great films, and so I'm going to talk about one of the many actors in this film. You probably know him as the nameless narrator of Fight Club, it's Edward Norton.

Norton in The Grand Budapest Hotel

Edward Norton is one of the most talented actors in hollywood, and I gotta say it's fantastic to see him popular again. It's been a long time since he was big like he is now, so I'm gonna talk about this great actors best & worst films.

For my favourite film, without question I gotta go with Fight Club.

Norton in Fight Club

This movie isn't just my favourite Edward Norton film, it's my favourite film of all-time. The story is so unique, it was especially unheard of for it's time, and it still holds up today. The plot twist is still one of the best plot twists in cinema history, and it works so very well. Edward Norton and Brad Pitt could've been nominated for oscars for this film, it's a shame the Academy didn't give it the recognition it deserves.

Some other great films he's done are Primal Fear, American History X, and Moonrise Kingdom.

For my worst, it's kind of slim pickings here, I couldn't think of any terrible movies in his filmography. But, the closest to terrible, for me, is Stone.

Norton in Stone

This film isn't a terrible film, it's just really bland. There's no intense moments, the climax fall flat, and both lead actors look really bored in the film. It's kind of off-putting. And the way Edward Norton talks in the movie is supposed to be this raspy voice, but it just sounds like this odd older voice. This film is really more bland and dry than low quality.
