October and Halloween have unfortunately come to a close, which means it's that time of the year when everyone pre-maturely puts their christmas decorations up, and you'll hear "All I Want For Christmas" on a constant loop. However, it also means that there's a whole new lineup of movies to look forward to, and these are the ones I'm eagerly anticipating this month.

Spectre
Spectre has been one of my most anticipated movies of the year since late 2014, and I've been excited for a new Bond movie since I saw Skyfall. And from the looks of it, Spectre is looking to be a pretty dope movie. First off, they got an amazing actor to play the villain, being Christoph Waltz from Inglorious Basterds, and the director of Skyfall, I see little to no reason why this movie would fail to amaze.

By the Sea
I'm going to be completely honest here, I don't have incredibly high expectationss for this movie. I hope Angelina Jolie can pull off a really good movie, and both Jolie and Pitt are talented actors. The only thing that really intrigues me about By the Sea is how little I know about the plot. From what I can tell, I think it's about a couple on a vacation, and there's some domestic problems. That's it, that's all I know.

Mockingjay pt. 2
The Hunger Games series is coming to an end with Mockingjay pt. 2, having read the books I don't know why they split Mockingjay into two films, but what's important is that we're finally getting the conclusion to the film series. It seems like director Francis Lawrence has saved the best for last, having all the really memorable parts of Mockingjay in this film, which should be awesome to see on screen.
Spotlight
I am a huge fan of the whole "web of lies" conspiracy type genre, where a bunch of people have to solve this huge conspiracy about something. Spotlight deals with the real life investigation into child abuse commited by preists at the Catholic church in Boston, and about how that investigation unravelled a whole web of lies spanning on a national scale. That's already an interesting enough story, so the fact that this movie has a near perfect cast (Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffallo, Rachel Mcadams, Stanley Tucci, Billy Crudup, Leiv Schreiber, etc.) slates Spotlight as one of my most anticipated movies of the month.

Creed
Creed has surprised me so-far, in terms of the trailers, it looks a lot better than I thought it would look. Creed is the seventh film in the rocky series, and this time Rocky is now the trainer. He's specifically training a kid named Adonis Johnson, but what makes this kid important is that he's actually the son of Apollo Creed. The Danish Girl also comes out on the same day, and having already seen The Danish Girl I honestly think Creed would be a much better choice.
Best of October 2015: Steve Jobs
Honorable Mentions: Bridge of Spies
So apparently this movie totally bombed at the box office, which I have to say is a total shame. Steve Jobs is one of the best, most well made movies of the year. Danny Boyle delivers a fantastic movie written by one of the most praised writers in hollywood, Aaron Sorkin. Steve Jobs isn't just a great film, but an astonishingly unique film as well, and tells the story of Steve Jobs in a really creative non-linear way. Michael Fassbender and Kate Winslet should both be up for oscars for this movie, and I seriously recommend everyone check out this movie.
