So 2015 is officially over, once I've seen Macbeth and 99 Homes I'll post my Top 15 of last year, but that's irrelevant. Right now, we have to get through dumb month, AKA January, the month where all the movies are either bad or just mediocre. And although I may not see all of them because, let's face it, they could mostly be garbage, January 2016 is actually looking pretty decent. So, without further delay, this is my January 2016 Watchlist.

The Revenant
This is one of the movies I ended up missing in 2015, for no other reason than it didn't come out anywhere near where I live. I've heard a lot of really good things about it, and I very much look forward to watching it. A lot of people are hoping this'll be DiCaprios Oscar moment, personally I could care less about the Oscars because at the end of the day it's just a trophy, but regardless I'm psyched to see this one.

13 Hours
Ever since I saw The Rock, I've been silently waiting for Michael Bay to do something as good as that. And maybe (hopefully) 13 Hours will do just that. Does it look like the standard US military propaganda type of movie I hate? Yes, but hopefully it'll be entertaining at the very least. And hey, The Rock was a military-type of movie, so there's a chance 13 Hours could be the one.

The Fifth Wave
I meant to read the book a few months ago, but I didn't get the chance to, and now the movie is gonna be out in a few weeks. If I hear it's bad, I'll probably skip it and read the book first. However, I've heard some really good things about the book, and this movie looks decent enough. Nothing amazing per say, but enough to be entertaining.
Anomalisa
This is another one of the 2015 movies that is only now being released in 2016, and one of those movies I really wanted to see. Charlie Kaufman has written some of my favorite movies ever (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind & Being John Malkovich to name a few), I've been looking forward to see this one. I'm not always a fan of animation and realism blending together, but I have no doubts about this one.

Kung Fu Panda 3
The Kung Fu Panda movies have been some of the more surprising movies, with each one so-far greatly exceeding my expectations. Now, with KFP 3 being a January release, I'm a little skeptical as to it's quality, but I'll probably see it anyway. J.K. Simmons as the villain will probably be funny, and the idea of Bryan Cranston as a panda just cracks me up in general.
