300: Rise of an Empire
The Grand Budapest Hotel
Mr. Peabody & Sherman
Growing up, I watched classic cartoons. I wasn't as into the hit shows most people my age were into, I was more into retro stuff (which is probably why I'm such a freaking hipster now). Mr Peabody & Sherman was one of those shows, so to see it getting a big screen adaptation is interesting.

Need for Speed
This could very well be the best video game adaptation... too bad that doesn't mean a whole lot when you think about it. This film looks like the brainchild of Fast & the Furious but with a darker tone, and I'm not sure how that's going to play out.
Better Living Through Chemistry
I am a huge Sam Rockwell fan, I love his movies and comedic styling. And by the looks of the trailer, his style is very much present in this film. And not only does he look like he's awesome in the movie, but so does the rest of the cast.
Enemy
This film seems very "hitchcock-ian". It's got an intriguing premise, and a great director behind it. Early reviews say this film is absolutely phenomenal, and I am hoping that it's exactly that. I've heard someone say it's like Donnie Darko for a new generation, which is interesting because Jake Gyllenhaal is in both of them.
Veronica Mars
Much like one of my favourite shows, Firefly, the show Veronica Mars is getting it's own theatrical release. Incase you don't know what this show is about, it's about a teenager who is secretly moonlighting as a private detective. The show has a decent fanbase, before unfortunately getting canned. (Also like Firefly.)

Divergent
Based on the insanely popular book series (that I haven't read any of), this film is about a dystopian future, with some weird government control... thing. Yeah I know absolutely jack shit about this film, if you have read the books pleas explain what is going on.
Nymphomaniac pt. 1
Oh Lars Von Trier. What a weirdo. His films are often the most uncomfortable to watch, partially because they all have a depressing plot, but mainly because of the imagery in the films. To give you an idea of how graphic his films are, 3 people actually passed out during a showing of one of his films.

Noah
Darren Aronofsky's a bit of a weirdo too actually, but for different reasons. His films are often Kubrick-ish, sporting strange shots and really disturbing set-pieces. Based on the trailer one might think this doesn't seem like an Aronofsky film, but I'm hoping it'll prove us all wrong.
Somebody go ahead and file this movie under the "I'm shocked this wasn't by Disney" section. This film has laughs, clever writing, really clever jokes, and some really heavy moments. The animation -although it takes a while to adjust to it- is fantastic, all the lego things look incredible in this film. And Will Arnett might just be my new favourite Batman.
